and EM7455,, and all the patches are almost same with trusty, just some
data structure is changed for wily, I just find another Sierra device,

I found out that the service start, stop and status commands are
interfering with the start(), stop() and status() functions defined in
the /usr/share/postgresql-common/init.d-functions script which is loaded
from /etc/init.d/postgresql

repository for vivid for more than 90 days. Please test this fix and

xterm freeze when acc

The display connected on my R9 290 through DisplayPort connection turns
black during boot and never comes back again.
According to the power led, it is up and does not turn into power saving
mode.

Pardon me , but isn't the kernel backported from 15.04 in 14.04.3?
Tablet works alright , it's just that the control center cant detect it.
And I moved to 15.04 so I can't do that, but I don't seem to understand
why, since the Wacom drivers works, sorry.

If that were so, then there would be a lot of bug reports
(control-characters would be something to check, but plain ASCII does not sound
plausible).

The characters being sent/received are normal ASCII characters, we're doing
Vin code scanning so it's even in the domain A-Z 0-9 like I said, it was
working fine on an older version of xterm.

I can confirm that nemo sftp is painfully slow. I hadn't paid attention
to it until recently, but it's transferring at around 30 kb/s. The same
transfer using filezilla fstp is at least 10 times faster.

Thomas: This issue is reproducible simply by attempting to scan a
barcode into the xterm window NOT a child process, I was simply
indicating that it happened in both places. The USB scanner is acting
as a basic character-input device when used like this. There's no
special application running it'
