got a new update info in my software updates and clicked on it and while
upgrading an error came up about something like "build err

The problem is not only on nVidia cards!
The same thing (black screen on Ubuntu) happens on AMD ATI cards also!
The problem seems to be due to the fact that Ubuntu and derivates
distros based on Ubuntu (Mint, Mate, etc.) detects an unreal, extremely
