I observed the same problem in opensuse 13.1 from LO 4.2.0 on.
As the named qt-bugs were patched in my latest tests
(see http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=899045) I suppose that the
cause is on the libreoffice side.
I suppose no actual linux distribution works correct in this way.

I agree, the issue is probably fixed by upstream commit
17338069e332bb73e4d9e7332b67b7853fbe83b7; I'll try to get around to
packing a few fixes to NM together to upload today.

GNOME System Monitor Resources
This bug affects me too! First started having problems in Ubuntu 12.04,
left mouse button wouldn't work 90% of the time. Right clicking works
fine. Tried different mice, different USB ports, same thing. Upgraded to
