I have Ubuntu 14.04 w/ Libreoffice 4.2.4.2 and an HP Office Jet Pro
8600. My File --> Printer Settings --> Properties indicate (and save)
the Duplex option, however, upon printing the duplex option is not being
respected. I have to print first to PDF, then with the PDF viewer print
in duplex :-(

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L750, which has a Qualcomm Atheros
AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter in it. When I was running 13.10 it all
worked perfectly fine, but ever since I upgraded to 14.04 - literally,
ever since the reboot after installing it - it has been problematic
Bluetooth working well for a headset on 12.04, not working on 14.04,
either as new install or as upgrade. It pairs normally, but on one
machine (new install) does not appear in sound settings, on the other it
appears but in neither case does it switch sound from speakers to the

Xubuntu 14.04 live DV
I had same problem on my amd64 computer trying to run gnome-disks's benchmark
from following ubuntu live CDs:
- 13.04 i386,
- 14.04 i386.
However I was able to run gnome-disks's benchmark when I booted my amd64
computer from:
- 13.10 amd64,
- 14.04 amd64.
Maybe this will help somebody...

from the DVD, shows the screen with the keyboard symbol at the bottom
and then the screen goes blank. DVD activity continues for a bit and
