I made a mistake by catogorizing this as a security issue.
In case you couldnt tell, I'm a nube to ubuntu (6 months or so).
When I go through the process of ubuntu-bug (on the terminal), after the audio
test is completed, sound works fine, untill I rebooot, Then it becomes

PulseAudio's Pidgin volume control slider keeps disappearing b
If I'm not mistaken this only affects non-Administrator user accounts.
It is happening on my fresh installation of 13.10.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Create a new unprivileged user using the User Accounts control panel
2) Login with this new user account
3) Try to share a folder with Nautilus

What manufacturer and model number is the keyboard, and how is it
attached to the system (e.g. DIN, PS/2, USB, bluetooth, etc.)?
