I just downloaded the daily build of quantal made this morning. The
first few times I tried to add the blackberry bluetooth device it never
generated a pin. I tried using a manual pin. It finally paired with the
phone correctly using manual pin. It did launch the DUN wizard for
selecting carrier. I

In terms of a fix, it's not switching workspaces that should make a
tooltip disappear. I think tooltips should disappear:
1. As soon as the related launcher icon is clicked (or any click is detected);
or
2. A few seconds after being displayed; or
3. All of the above.
Which video driver are you using? If you're using Intel graphics I'll
mark this as a duplicate under bug #966744.

I too decided to disable Global Menu Integration. If you then go to the
View menu in Firefox and turn off the Menu Bar you'll get a look that is

I think this bug best describes my experiences with network applet too,
although I use a Dell D610 not an HP machine. The menu of nm-applet

Can’t connect to VPN from GNOME Shell

Thanks for the bug report. I found an upstream bug here:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=668035 and I submitted a
simple patch to fix it.
You can workaround the issue by manually adding:
PACKAGENAME
VERSION
REVISION
to the generated xml. It seems that is exactly what glib does, to
c
spoke to soon. editing the file as suggested in #85 does not fix the
issue for me. removing the file completely as suggested in #33 does seem
to fix it though.
