Hi, I think, it is kind a confusing to have 2 images viewers/managers.
Always when I need to crop image, I must open shotwell from eog or so.

eog should be replaced by shotwell for displaying images by default
@Greg. I do notice that here as well. Its fixed for the most part, now I
can hover and drag the overlay scrollbar fine, but as you said left
clicking once it, it does cause it to disappear. Works fine with a mouse
here as well, only the touchpad is effected.

I was able to reproduce this I show the following:
11.10 i386 - 729.1MB
11.10 amd64 - 731.2MB
Both exceed the capacity of a CD and a test with Brasero shows that a
burn is not possible.

Yep, just set up Facebook and then change profile pic and post status update
and your pic is same
there should be some reasonable time interval to check profile pics for changes
