No, I am removing them because they are not used anywhere (except,
prune, as I discovered). I put it back.

am not sure if all of the proc's you removed are needed but I am running
into a problem with prune not being defined when I run the GCC testsuite

What is your means of communicating with the remote target? If you
are using ssh, you could set SendEnv on the client side and AcceptEnv
on the server side. Would this remove any need for harness changes?
