Hi,
A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging cellprofiler.
Unfortunately,
it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open
for a too long time,
t this
message is talking about, this may indicate a serious mail system
misconfiguration somewhere. Please contact ow...@bugs.debian.org
immediately.)

I'd prefer giving up on cellprofiler. Anyone interested in taking

CellProfiler is extremely easy to use from any user location. However
it is extremely hard to package for debian. See:
[ImportError: No module named multiarray (is back)]
http://mail.python.org/pipermail/
cellprofiler also requires libtiff bindings from python:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "setup.py", line 27, in
from libtiff.libtiff_ctypes import tiff_h_name
ImportError: No module named libtiff.libtiff_ctypes
