Hi Brian,
I would be glad to takeover care over smart-notifier package. I use it
on daily basis. I will not have free time this week, but I will try to
make package ready to upload next Saturday.

I do not have the ability to easily test changes to smart-notifier
anymore and thus cannot fix bugs. But I see that it's growing in
popularity and home someone else is up to the job.
