actually, I was have uploaded the ubuntu package already and it was
rejected for solvable technical reasons, but then I found out about the
upstream deadness, so I also think it should not go into Debian at the
moment.
You probably should close the ITP then.

you own a year-old ITP bug for monkey-bubble. What is holding you back
from uploading the package? If you want to save work, you can consider
basing your package on the Ubuntu package[1], which was first uploaded
in June.
