I use freevo (I set up a PVR box some years ago), and I also developed
some patches for it ; so I would be interested in (co)mantaining
recently I also managed to run my PVR so that the freevo program does

report that gocr 0.40 may segfault on some images; this is a potential
security risk; I contacted gocr mantainer some time ago, and he is
working on that.
This said, I have a package ready at
http://tonelli.sns.it/pub/mennuc
I installed it "by hand" (no .deb yet) ; it really
does work; what I am a tad afraid of is that it seems that
ocr sw suffers from many buffer-overflow, so this package may
become a vector attak
so I will need to investigate before submitting a .deb
