from my point of view it is OK to switch to the original opencascade
implementation.
But one need:
- be sure that the all oce-dependent packages can be built against opencascade
- double check the licenses of all files.

Yes, hopefully they sort it out upstream since someone revived the
effort a couple of weeks ago. You're right about backporting, I hadn't
really thought about that but it makes sense as an option if the next
upstream versions change other dependencies.

Yes, sorry I had already prepared that version, I didn't see that it was
incompatible.
I based myself on guessit 2.1.4 setup.py, which requires rebulk >= 0.9.0:

At the moment, that version of guessit is incompatible with flexget,
