Debian already includes lufs-cryptofs,which works with lufs.
I have used encfs and compared it to lufs-cryptofs, and
encfs seems to be faster... And fuse seems to be more actively
maintained upstream than lufs.

I have nearly completed Eclipse 3.0 packages that are built and run with
a free JVM.
Please see my debian-java posts regarding this. I will work there and
pkg-eclipse-maintainers to get these packages accepted.
