I'm no longer able to test this module (I've been without a Vaio laptop
for some months now). The packaging is mostly simple for a kernel
module. I am not sure if it works on 2.6 or not, but it worked as late
as 2.4.20 for me. Upstream is not dead, but essential

found another hard disk, so it's all good.
