I setup a web cluster using ipvsadm and pirhana (from redhat) on redhat
9. I would like to the same on Debian woody, without piranha. So far, I
have come accross the following packages on woody that are related to
clustering:
lvs
ipvsadm
kimberlite
mosix
queue
webmin-cluster-software
While trying to setup a node with:
/usr/lib/kimberlite/bin/member_config
I got the following reponse:

Is there a tool similar to redhat's chkconfig managing startup scripts
for debian?

I have been playing around with debin woody (rc2) for about week now,
and I have varying success. The biggest problem I have is my wireless
NIC (prism2). The "vanilla" kernel simply freezes my system, the "bf24"
never connects to the network but gives tx errors. This lead me to try
and recompile th
The "bf24" kernnel installation does not have the "ips.o" module
required for ServerRaid,
which means I have have the modules build for the kernel before
installing. One way to do
this is to install "bf24" on a machine that does not have the ServerRaid

prism2_cs.o: prism2_cs.o: unresolved symbol p802addr_to_str

What is the safest route to upgrade the kernel from 2.4.18 to 2.6.x? My
biggest worry is that the last time I tried, I could not get the wlan-ng
drivers to compile with the new kernel.

Did you maybe forget to make dep? When exactly did you get the

without? Which version did you try to compile?
I may have forgotten make dep. And I had compiled and installed the

Now that I am on the network, it seet that my machine cant access
