Yes, that seems to have solved the problem! Thank you very much for the
tip!
BTW, where did you find this information (just in case I need such info
again in the future)?

Hello,
I need to install Bash 2.01 on a Debian 1.3.1 bo-based system.
How safe is it to use bash-2.01 from bo-unstable? Does anyone have had
problems with that?
Thanks for any tip!

ms just fine!
BTW, I also compiled bash 2.01.1 from the sources on prep.ai.mit.edu and
that too works fine on the full bo-system.

It is true that hardware failures tend to become the single most important

Please do not forget that there are users who access the site

Does anyone have an explanation for this? Sorry if the question sounds too

king this way, I'll certainly buy the CD-ROM
version. Corel has done an excellent job with this release!
Cleto
agree Corel could have stated that more clearly, the Download
Version of WP8 is really meant to get you started with all the
core wordprocessing tasks -- if you then find out that WP8 works for you,
you're encouraged to buy the Personal Version. I find this a fair
enough approach.

the info from LPRng I get the following line:
"JetDirect lpd: no entries".
So it seems that at least *something* is understood by the JetDirect.
Does anyone have an idea what else I could try?
Thanks in advance for any help!

'export LC_CTYPE=de_DE' should also work, if you want to keep messages in

Yes, it works. At least I have used it with versions of Samba up to 2.0.8.
But I see no reason for which it should not work for newer versions as
well.
