Integrated sound / ALSA / New Hardware

Hello d-u,   I recently moved an installation to a new box, which has integrated audio.  Specifically, from lspci:   :00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corp. 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio (rev 01)   A bit of googling shows what module to use (ac97_codec).  However, the system says that /dev

Not sure what the status is of printing from Mozilla, but I know it's horribly broken. I thought I should point something out to you regarding thunderbird, though. In .7.1, they changed the profile directory. You'll find that, previously, you had a ~/.mozilla-thunderbird/default.xlf directory.

Aye, it does sound like you have quite a mess on your hands. My personal _recommendation_ (do not take this as law) would be to start from scratch, and use one of the beta Sarge installers. You'll find Sarge far more up-to-date, with support for 2.6 kernels and Nforce chipsets right out the gate.

No cursor in X after resume.

After a recent upgrade, when I resume my Thinkpad (lid open) there is no cursor in X. You can see that the cursor is there and working, but there is no graphic for it. I have to switch to another virtual terminal and then switch back to X in order for it to draw the cursor again. Has anyone e
