Hello everyone !
I'd like to use my Olitec Speed Voice 56000 as a phone, just as I can under
Windoze. Is it possible ? Which software must I use (I prefer packaged in
.deb, but I can compile the sources too.)
Thank you very much.

Hello everyone,
While I was cleaning my home directory, I saw this program that I compiled.
After that, I launched it and... My X became frozen and then crashed ( I
executed the program in an Xterm). I think it's because it used all the memory
available...
I don't want to try but what could happ
Why not just do as linus said : "let's not care about patents until they
bring problems."
You host everything in europe (still no patents..), and let's think about
that again
when europe enforces patents.

PS: I don't want to start a troll, I just feel that free software gets
threatened by US
which jabber server do you use ? I currently use charente.de and it's
hard to say that it's 100% reliable.

Hi,
I think you should take a look at the Name Service Switch. + PAM..
It just seems that when LDAP is enabled, the system screws up while shuting
down/rebooting... :-(
it seems the authentication system refuses to allow the umount -a while
shutting down
As a result, my /usr is always badly umount
If you really want a java based IM software, then try jabber..
there are many clients availiable, and I'm pretty sure some are
in java..

Here's a set of rules I did for ipmasq.
Replace all the /etc/ipmasq/rules files with these ones to get
ip masquerade + packet filter.
it protects against spoof & flood, as well as against manyu other
