ftp://ftp.fsn.hu. When I boot the CD, a choose the keyboard layout, but
I can't able to partition my disk. When I select that option, the system

I'm trying to install Debian woody in my HP Pavilion ze4500 laptop.
However, when I boot the system with the CD installation using "bf24"
option I can't able to do anything more because my keyboard doesn't
work. By the other side, when I don't use the "bf24" to install kernel

I found the solution to my problem. For your information: I needed
disable USB Legacy support on BIOS and everything works fine.

I have a HP ZE4500 Pavilion laptop with ALi M5451 sound card but I don't
know how I can do the manual configuration to load the right kernel
modules and its parameters to my sound card works fine.
Should anyone suggest me a software to configure my sound card like a
sndconfig?

I'm trying to install my CD-RW/DVD combo drive. I already have included
im my Grub configuration the "hdX=ide-scsi" and I linked the /dev/cdrom
file to /dev/scd0, but when I run "cdrecord -scanbus" command I get the
folow message:
cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open
# uname -r
2.4.25-1-386
I'm using sarge.

Other information about my problem: when I reboot my system my link from
/dev/cdrom to /dev/scd0 is changed again to /dev/cdrom0.
Can anyone help me?

I must compile my kernel to support ACPI and other features. But, when I
untar the kernel-source Debian package and run "make menuconfig" many
features enabled in my working are disabled. Thus, I must re-enable all
these features again.
Is there any way to me get the ".config" default f
of the debian kernel.

I very strange thing happened with me. I was using my system normally
and when I reboot my mouse stops. Now, I'm unable to use it because de
pointer doesn't move anymore.
When I run mdetect my mouse is detected but it doesn't work either.
