Multiple hosts & hosts.equiv

Hi, I've never connected two or more computers before, and have questions regarding administration. I now have two Debian Linux boxes connected via Ethernet and NFS up and running, no problem. However, I can't get rlogin/rsh/rcp working "passwordlessly". I have added + in /etc/hosts.equiv on both

smbmount /usr possible?

Problem w/ network card during boot

Ultraound MAX, gus.o module

Hi, I've recompiled my kernel but cannot get the midi for of my GUS MAX to work. /dev/audio works fine, but I am unable to play midi files. I have read the /usr/doc/ultra/ docs, but I don't grasp how to actaully get it to work when recompiling the kernel. According to the README, support for GUS
