I'm very new to linux I've used dos, win3.11,win95,winnt4,win98(i got it a month ago) and now I whan't to learn linux. Can some one tell me how to logon the internet with linux. thank's  chesshome

I ran "/usr/doc/pppconfig" but came into a nother problem when I tried to run "pon" it gave me a errer "/usr/sbin/pppd: infile /etc/ppp/peers/provider: unrecognized option '/dev/modem' " Agian can someone help me?   thank's chesshome

I need to istall the ppp kernel module can someone tell me how to do that? thank's chesshome   (P.S. I'm looking for good debian resources for stuff like command's, programs, ect. can someone tell me whare I can find such resources them maybe I whon't ask so many Q.)
