I just manually added xbmc-standalone as an alternative for
x-s
I'm now using openELEC on the Shuttle as it's a frontend without any
other purpose I'm very happy with it.
It boot's very fast, everything works out of the box and it updates
itself automatically.

You can check current cpu load and movie statistics by click "o" key on
keyboard. :)
