Potato 2.2r3 machine - and have given up as of now!
In that process I was told by XE 21.4 that I needed the xaw-wrappers
package and to play with the update-xaw-wrappers command - installed one
and played with
I run a potato system an came over this while upgrading vi apt, in
the configure phase:

I've tried to use the xaw-wrappers program with xload using the
following entry in /etc/xaw-wrappers.conf:
/usr/bin/X11/xload,/usr/X11R6/lib/libXaw95
But all I get is:
griffon:~> echo $PATH
/home/verisim/usr/bin:/home/behanw/bin:/home/behanw/bin/share:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr
