Thank you all for the great information on 'startx' command. I will check the install and see if it somehow omitted the xclient! Also, the 'dlocate' command is a new one on me! I just installed it in my desktop and it is a *must have* applicatoin. I love Gnu! Thanks again. Wishing you well.
