Yes, in case the parameters for synaptics had to be adjusted, the monitoring
command "synclient -m 100" was very helpful for me.

I received no response to the first query. Any suggestions where to
look (e.g. other lists?) to diagnose why synaptics touchpad suddenly
stopped responding to two-finger operations?
