there was a discussion about it a few days ago on this list.
it seems that i missed it and cannot find anything relevant now :(
by the way - this is fresh etch install (into chroot). just after
installation, i get the following:
$ aptitude install texlive
Reading package lists... Done

I am running unstable and I had no problems having both of the packages
installed at the same time in the last couple of months. Only recently
aptitude has warned me it would have to r
