I upgraded from potato to woody and installed the newest kernel. However, when I boot with the new kernel, it locks up when it tries to start inetd. If I boot with the old kernel, everything loads perfectly. Does anyone know what this could be? luke

g all the module categories. On the desktop it is finding the 'misc' catagory, containing all my ALSA modules, while on the notebook it finds the PCMCIA category. Those are both "top level" modules categories, in that they are immediate subdirectories of /lib/modules/2.4.0-tes
