Are you pretty sure? Have a look at www.sun.com's download page

yes, it is. you have to chmod it if it's not

I'm new to Star-office, don't know how to install it even.
And reluctant to run an executable with no what-it-does file . . .

on a the user screen just type:
ghost:~$ xhost +localhost
on the root window just type:
ghost:~# export DISPLAY=localhost:0.0
then run the binary file !

D ghost here. Just wanted to ask if anyone had had any success with
Staroffice. I was not sure what to do with the 97 meg *.bin file that I
d/l from Sun site. I have nothing to README :)
Please advise how to get started with this install.
