Hi Everyone:
I think I fixed my return-path issue with sqwebmail. It was a matter of
configuring Exim4. See
http://www.andreaswacker.com/blog/2006/08/11/return-path-exim4/. I simply added
users and addresses to /etc/email-addresses.

Hello Everyone:
I installed sqwebmail(debian package - sqwebmail_0.53.3-5_i386.deb), which is
part of the courier-base package. I use Exim4 for my MTA and apache2 for my
webserver. All is running on Debian Etch. Sqwebmail works for receiving mail,
but it generates a Return-path header

Found this old post and wondered if there is an answer to setting the
hostname on outgoing posts for sqwebmail. My outgoing smtp mail uses
the local box hostname instead of the fully qualified domain name of the
server.

I am having the
exact same problem and have tried everything mentioned in the post and
everything comes back fine. Any ideas? What was your final outcome? I am runngin

be the problem?

Marek,
I have the same difficulty with the local host name following the
@. I have observed the mail does arrive at the destination with the fqdn
following the @ yet I'd like the banner to read exactly that. Did you have
any success and if so how. It had been working properly for me b
Hi all
I use sqwebmail as a webmail application, everything works fine
except sending mail. The problem is with domain after '@'
character. Sqwebmail adds only hostname but not full FQDN. In
documentation I have found that the name after '@' can be
configured in file called &

Hi All,
I'm trying to use non-system passwords with courier/sqwebmail. From
what I can mine from google, it appears that the authuserdb
authentication method is best suited for my system of under 25 users.
Can anyone tell me if authuserdb support is compiled into the Debian

I've been looking at sqwebmail and squirrelmail as possible candidates for
setting up our webmail interface on top of qmail. Does anyone have a
recommendation one way or the other? (preferably with some reasons why)

I must be doing something wrong, because I'm not able to authenticate trough
sqwebmail interface. Searched through Google already, but of no avail.

I had the same problem ...
I you just want to test a webmail, try squirrelmail, it installed quite straightly.
You have to implement an imap server thought.

Hi Folks,
I have been unsing courier-imap-ssl and sqwebmail for quite some time
now and it was working fine.
However, a couple of weeks ago, i noticed the following error message
when logging in my sqwebmail:

sqwebmail is not accessable.
i followed the readme and added the setenv sqwebmail_templatedir to /adir/mywebmail
and copied the html templates there.

Anyone have any experience setting up sqwebmail? I've been puttering
around with it, but I'm not really getting anywhere. I have a default
apache install, and a default sqwebmail for woody. When I acces the
site, I get an error "foo.com/[" not found. I assume
