Some laptops turn the sound down automatically when headphones/earphones are
plugged

This is nuts.
My sound has stopped working. A couple of days ago everything was OK.
Here is my pulseaudio log. Does it look normal? Or is my soundcard broken?
Or maybe the sound is just muted, how to unmute it?
