Iceape browser and mail has suddenly become very slow in scrolling and
paging. I have found an kludge fix: kill plugin-containe. This
temporarily restores normal performance.
Does anyone know the underlying cause and a permanent solution?

If the 8M-machine works fine but not the 20M-machine, the problem may
well be with the cash on the motherboard. Take a quick look

For example, when launching dselect and asking to choose packages, it
takes a couple of minutes until it gets there. It is a few seconds on
