I've been using psgml in emacs to create the files, and seem to have things
working properly.
When I give either the commend "db2html test.xml" or "sgmltools --backend=html
test.xml" I get many errors
I'm running Lyx 1.1.16fix1, using sgmltools under the DocBook class to
translate my sgml class document to other formats. Regardless of what I do
to view or export the text, I get an error stating:
File "/usr/lib/sgml/misc/sgmltools/python/utils.py",
That figure is in the unstable version of sgmltools-2, but it's in the
wrong location. I plan to submit a bug report.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi!
I have installed sgmltools-2 but I am always getting this error:
# sgml2latex --style=dookbook.dtd libggi-api.sgml
Processing file libggi-api.sgml
DTD check - Error: this sgml-tools package supports Linuxdoc DTD only.
If you wish to convert DocBook or other DTD files,
then please

Hi,
This should do the trick:
jade -t tex -d /usr/lib/sgml/stylesheets/nwalsh-modular/print/docbook.dsl
myfile.sgml > myfile.tex
where myfile.sgml is the DocBook SGML file you want to convert and myfile.tex
is the output filename you want to use.

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a conversion path for converting a
docbook sgml document to texinfo format?
TIA,

Hi,
I want to produce a Spanish html document from a sgml (docbook) one.
I've seen many international stylesheets under
/usr/lib/sgml/stylesheet/dsssl/docbook/nwalsh/html/ but nor sgmtools
nor jade have an option to set the language.
Please Help.

Hi,
I would like to put some documents in SGML and decided to try converting
the Debian tutorial at http://www.debian.org/~hp/tutorial/debian-tutorial.sgml
as an example. Well it did not go so well.
Going by the document at http://www.us.sgmltools.org/guide/guide-4.html, I
tried:
bash-2.01$ sg
