I tried again with the sarge netinst iso from
http://freedesktop.org/~daniel/d-i/
But had no better luck than the last time.
The menu hilite keeps pointing to network install (forget the exact wording)
and does not progress, so you have to do the things yourself.

I just have burnt the sarge-i386-netinst.iso disk. I try to install it
on a laptop using pcmcia xircom card.
It seems the CD doesn't support pcmcia. How can I resolv it ?
