it this way:
on my already running suse-system i compiled a patched kernel with
reiserfs support (using the .config from the kernel .deb, only without
scsi support, but with reiserfs).
then i booted this kernel with the root.bin initrd. then i started the
install. at the point, where the installer

You can pause & resume the installation in order to install reiserfs
on the system.
