I note that mouse always work properly with desktop icon. In this same
time windows manager can't cooperate with mouse (for example close X
item don't work).
Any idea?

su
apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
then reboot the system.

I'm using woody and the mouse doesn't work after I use it for a few

works the scroll wheel works fine in gnome, but after a while it, the mouse,

This depends what type of mouse it is. If it's one of these micro$oft
ones, then choose microsoft (in XF86Setup); if not, then try Logitech
