Hello to every Debian user.
I've just installed Debian 11 and I see that it is affected by the bug
explained here :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/1842320
I see that the bug has been fixed on Ubuntu. Do you confirm that,to fix
it,I just need to install the package

Hi,
I'm trying to install Debian Stretch using a preseeding file.
All of this is with Qemu and I'm not sure how to pass the path of the
preseed file:
qemu-system-x86_64 -drive file=debian.img,format=raw -cdrom
debian-9.5.0-amd64-netinst.iso -boot d -nographic -kernel vmlinuz

Hi list,
I'm working on preseed file located on a USB stick with Debian DVD image
(automated installation in non-network environment).
How can I configure debian-installer to use only local DVD image instead
of a network mirror ?
Best regards,

Hi all,
I have just configured a preseed file to include a local repository.
# Debian mirrors
d-i apt-setup/local0/comment string local mirror
d-i apt-setup/local0/repository string http://
d-i apt-setup/local0/key string http://
The main issue I am facing here is that the repo is not added to
located preseed
file, you have to manually setup an IP address in order to download the
preseed file.

Note also that the backslash is not needed.
Essentially you need to supply all the answers to question up to and
including network configuration - then your preseed file will supply the
rest.

Use the expert option in the installer.
The installer asks you how to set up your network.
It also prompts for the location of a preseed file.
Those two prompts between them should give you enough to go forward.
Hope this helps, with

Hi guys,
I would like to install my Debian machines with the Pressed D-I feature.
At this moment, I dont have a decent DHCP/BootP server yet, and waiting
for this to be achieved, I want to manually provide the IP address at
the boot prompt.
I already use it on others distributions install, b
