I can't seem to figure out what's the problem, but after detecting eth0, it gives me an error about not finding an "access concentrator". What's strange is that the same tool in knoppix does find it and all I need to do is type my username and password in order to connect using my ADSL connection.

Hi, I have a firewall box running Woddy 3.0r2 that gets its IP address dynamically from an adsl modem. Two or three times a day it looses the connection to the internet, an ifconfig command won't show ppp0, so issuing "pon dsl-provider" usually makes it work. I have tried the same installation in

After filing a bug on this problem #140540 I've received some helpful info from Eduard Bloch and the bug has been closed (there wasn't a bug with the boot floppies package, it seems it was with the CD's) The problem seems to be the basedebs file on the CD is incorrect. Supposedly you can down

As an update, I just tried the bf4 flavor of the boot disks and recieved the same error- can't download PPPOECONF, and the install of the base system quits. I think I am going to try either stable on this system and then upgrade or i may pull a desktop out that I have been meaning to wo
