Dear Rafael,
For normal users to be able to start "pon dsl-provider", /usr/sbin/pppoe
has to be suid root. You can set that like this:
chmod +s /usr/sbin/pppoe
After you've done that, permission levels should look like this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~> ls -l /usr/sbin/pppoe
-r
