If your installed kernel has support for the zip drive (it recognizes the zip drive as a scsi device, sda?) you should be able to just mount the zip drive normally, such as mount /dev/sda? /mnt, and then just use it. If there is no support for the zip drive already built in, you will need to compi

hello everybody, I've just installed the base system on my computer at home but I don't have any ftp-connection or CD-drive in it. But I've downloaded the stable/msdos-i386 packages to my parallel Iomega-ZIP drive. How can I install these packages with this? thank you, Antje -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE
