Hi Cecil, A few months back I installed Debian on a Toshiba Satellite laptop with a trashed dvd-rom. I used floppies from here- http://http.us.debian.org/debian/dists/woody/main/disks-i386/current/images-1.44/ I actually chose the bf2.4 floppies and all went well with network install. I changed
