nvidia tnt2

My diamond v770 tnt2 for some reason doesn't get detected and obviously this is a problem when X configuration happens. Is there some device module I need or something?

Truecolor on the nVidia driver is 32 bit. The 3.3.6 _SVGA server will work nicely at that depth. Brent

The debian driver by default is nv not nvidia ulles you 've downloaded and installed from nvidia.com I think that this driver does not support 24 bpp I think you should put 16 bpp in your XF86config file Ross

using debian 2r2 with the standard distribution of xfree86 i have a graphics card based on tnt2. i downloaded the drivers from nvidias website, configured x11. when i execute i get an error message saying "invalid symbol" in libglx. i suppose that it does not load the module. and consequently X d
