What machine is 192.1.1.25? Is that the machine gateway? If so then is nmbd actually running? It might be configured to run from inetd.conf if it is then check out /etc/hosts.allow and make sure that it's setup to allow connections. I'm guessing nmbd probably isn't running for whatever reason and
