Just figured out that this does actually work. The problem is that I had gdm running on the Linux box and the RedHat server logs you into runlevel 3. I'll start to look into gdm to tell it to deal with NIS but has anyone come across this problem before? thanks, Andy Andrew D Dixon wrote: > H
