I used to have no problems using NFS to mount Knoppix
to another computer and read files in most of the directories
with the exception of /home.
Now the directories are all soft linked to something like
etc -> /UNIONFS/etc
and I'm unable to view or cd to them.
Is this UNIONFS something new to Kn

Hello all. Just installed nfs using apt-get but haven't got it to work
yet. My /etc/exports hosts.allow and deny files are listed below but I
think they are correct. On the client side the command:
# rpcinfo -p my.

I am trying to install base2_0.tgz via NFS.
On 192.168.37.2 I have
/tmp(rw)
in /etc/exports (I have also tried other lines such as
/tmp*.lynagh.demon.co.uk(ro,insecure)
but no better luck)
When I "mount -t nfs 192.168.37.2:/tmp /mnt" from 192.168.37.2 it all
