I'm installing Debian 2.1 (slink) via floppies on an IBM Thinkpad 360 with
12 MB RAM and 340 MB HDD. I was able to partition the hard drive and mount
filesystems without any problem (I chose /dev/hda1 mounted on /, /dev/hda2
swap partition and /dev/hda3 on /usr). When I get to instal

What disks are you using - form bo or hamm?
hamm disks are not ready for a prime time yet.
In any case the error you mentioned probably indicates bad floppy disk.

Looks like your rescue disk is broken. Did you try another floopy? Did
you check the floopy image? If you are connected to the internet you can
grab a new image and copy it to a new floppy and see if this helps.

And I also have a problem, When I push enter at the boot screen when
