Howdy, fellow Debianites!
I've recently started using mldonkey/mlnet; it's a great p2p client,
but the version from testing (3.0.0-3) never shows any logs in the web
browser interface; every time you click on "Log", it just prints:
End of log

I installed the last version of mlDonkey in Sid.
At startup I receive this message:

I read that this was a old bug, resolved
from some time. However

Okay, so no you have to look to the log. I've a /var/log/mldonkey
which is empty, and some information into /var/log/message, grep
message for mlnet and mldonkey, may be you will find what is the
problem. Otherwise ask.

Seems perfectly normal when I start the system service. No indication
of any errors. No indication that anything at all may be wrong except
that there is never a pid for mlnet or mldonkey_server.

I saw that in the debian version of mldonkey the previewer is defined as
/usr/bin/see. I made sure that it was configured properly from the
command line, but I still can't preview the files from within mldonkey.
Is there currently a way to make this work?

The fact that the prannocks (I like that word) don't know they can:
security through obscurity (or perhaps through lack of interest). In any
case, it has yet to be a problem.

Hi all.
I have no experience with any internet file sharing system.
Some one told me about overnet. I searched debian repositories for it and I
came up with mldonkey, another program to do that.
Now I readed a bit about this but still I don't feel like I can make the
choice.
Seems to me
