make lilo to ignore errors - howto?

2004-06-13 Thread LeVA
Hi! When I run lilo, it says: Fatal: VolumeID read error: sector 0 of /dev/hdd not readable Is there a switch to ignore that error? I'm not trying to write to that device with lilo, so lilo has nothing to do with that. Thanks! Daniel -- LeVA pgpAJ6aA8Sx9F.pgp Description: signature

Received this error in trying to make lilo: make: ld86:command not found make: *** [temp2.ing] error 127 I've tried installing most current libutils, locales, and libc6. Tried lilo 21.7 and 21.6 no dice. Do I need as86 or what? TIA Dean
