Version 4.06 of kernel-package has two show stopper
bugs. Version 4.07 has been ploaded to the Incoming queue on Monday
the 27th, and shall propogate soon.
The inconvenience is regretted.

it runs other programs and other scripts
ok I may have found something
check out /usr/lib/kernel-package/Control and search for lilo...
looks ifne in mine but

Using 4.06, just downloaded it yesterday from unstable/frozen.

I am trying to use make-kpkg to build a .deb package for a friend. I type
the following command and receive an error after about 3min into the
compile (on a PPro200).
(from /usr/src/kernel-source-2.0.33)
#make-kpkg kernel_image -revision=custom.1.0
...(compiles for 3 min) then,
