I have compiled a new custom 2.4.18 kernel using the great instructions from http://newbiedoc.sourcefourge.net/system/kernel-pkg.html I am having problems with lilo, mbr, booting without using a floppy. lilo broken after upggrade

Hello - Lilo broke after an upgrade to testing. I get as far as 'Li' and then it freezes up. I read in the README file that I need to specify the 'lba32' in lilo.conf to fix it. Anyone know what the lba32 is and how I would go about finding its specifics specifing for my machine? -richard
